Expedition Motor Company (EMC) continues to set the benchmark for restoring iconic G Class vehicles, crafting each old G-Wagen meticulously from the frame up. With over 165 Wolfs delivered worldwide, each build reflects our deepening expertise and continuous evolution. This stunning 1993 250GD Wolf, finished in a refined Midnight Blue exterior and complemented by an elegant Pecan/Sailor dual-tone interior, showcases our commitment to heritage and modern usability.

Designed for the Modern Day

Timeless Appeal

The Midnight Blue exterior presents an understated yet sophisticated color profile, accentuating the classic G-Wagen's iconic design lines. Paired with a dual-tone Pecan/Sailor interior, this combination delivers a refined and balanced aesthetic. As with all our vintage SUVs, the build includes two versatile soft tops, a bikini top offering an open-air driving experience with coverage for the front two passengers, and a full soft top equipped with roll-up side curtains for customizable weather protection.

One of the most unique parts of this build is the fact that it is a very rare variant of the W461 G-Wagen: the Luftlande Wolf. This version of the 250GD was built and designed by Mercedes-Benz for helicopter transport. It came equipped with  reinforced side hooks mounted to the body, providing additional anchor points for underslung airlift operations. We have retained this feature as a part of this restoration, honoring the legacy of the ex-military G-Wagen.

Carefully Crafted Interior Comfort

Inside, the cabin of this 2-door G-Wagen maintains the original functional simplicity and charm of the classic Mercedes convertible design. Carefully selected modern amenities are seamlessly integrated to enhance usability without compromising authenticity. Features like USB and USB-C charging ports, a responsive Wireless Apple CarPlay touchscreen, and a thoughtfully placed audio system reflect our focus on modern usability within a heritage vehicle.

Upgraded Drivetrain

At the core of this build is the upgraded OM602a turbodiesel engine, renowned for its reliable performance and smooth power delivery. Coupled with a Mercedes 5-speed automatic transmission, the drivetrain has been rigorously rebuilt and tested by our experienced in-house team, ensuring reliable operation and long-term durability.
