This restored client build in Mercedes Magma Beam Orange over Nasturtium Orange—is one of the most striking builds we’ve completed to date. It’s a clear expression of a client’s vision for a vintage convertible G Wagon, executed with our usual focus on quality, drivability, and craftsmanship.

This truck was taken to bare metal and rebuilt from the ground up for everyday use. The result is a short-wheelbase Wolf that feels tight and predictable—analog in the best ways, with road manners that suit modern driving. It’s the character people love from a 1990s g wagon, made easier to live with through careful engineering and development.

Engineered to Last
Power comes from a fully rebuilt OM605a Turbo rated at 225 hp / 300 lb-ft, paired to a 5-speed manual. The combination delivers smooth, usable torque through the mid-range with direct shifts. Around town, it feels responsive; on the highway, it has enough power to cruise at highway speeds without issue. As with all EMC builds, the drivetrain undergoes extensive in-house testing before delivery, ensuring reliable performance over the long term.
