Restored Anew

We are proud to introduce this one-of-one build, commissioned by our client to pay homage to the history of the Mercedes-Benz 250GD Wolf.

This build has been fully-restored and refinished in historically accurate camouflage, a first for Expedition Motor Company. During the specification process, a few different directions were considered, ultimately landing on this striking specification, a thoughtful tribute to the military history of the 250GD.

Using the exact green, brown, and black NATO military paint codes, our team studied and applied a one-to-one camouflage finish, taken directly from one of our pre-restored units.

Fun fact, no two military-spec 250GDs share an identical camo pattern. Rather than being finalized at the factory, the camo was applied by military personnel, following general placement guidelines for each color, rather than standardized stencils.

Powered by the 6.2L LS3 V8 gasoline engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, this vintage G-Wagen is built for both rugged terrains and modernized cruising. Give us a shout to learn more about our custom build process and what it takes to design and build a bespoke G-Wagen with Expedition Motor Company.
